My name is Aubrey Dokos and I teach music at Summit Hills Elementary. I am lucky because I get to teach grades 1-6. This is my first year teaching at an elementary school but I have been teaching private piano, voice and guitar lessons for 12 years. I got a degree in Music Therapy from Utah State University. My husband Drew and I have one daughter, two sons and a dog. A hidden talent of mine (that I don’t really hide) is being able to come up with a song for nearly any word or phrase that people say. I love to sing so I love turning everyday conversation into songs! I obviously love music and play the piano, guitar and violin but I also love to read, camp, hike, cook and travel. I love traveling over summer breaks to visit family and also see new places. My last meal would be shrimp, scallops and lobster, Dr. Pepper and dark chocolate for dessert. If I won the lottery I would take my family and travel the world!
